Additive Disable
AdditiveFAP additive (commonly known as Eolys) is a special chemical used primarily in Peugeot, Citroën, and Ford diesel engines. It is automatically injected into the fuel tank to lower the temperature required to burn off soot trapped in the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF/FAP). While it helps the car clear its filter during city driving, the system is a notorious maintenance headache. The additive fluid is highly toxic and expensive to refill, and the delicate injection pumps, fluid pouches, or level sensors frequently fail. When a component breaks or the fluid simply runs low, the car throws aggressive dashboard warnings, refuses to regenerate the filter, and eventually forces the engine into a restrictive "limp mode." We provides a software solution to cleanly disable the FAP additive system (typically handled under their DPF Removal Module). This fix stops the engine control unit from looking for the additive fluid, halts the regeneration cycles, and permanently clears the related error codes.
