Modern engines are often programmed from the factory to run at extremely high coolant temperatures to help meet strict emissions targets, but running an engine this hot can cause severe heat soak during spirited driving, reduce overall performance, and accelerate the wear of expensive plastic and rubber cooling system components. We offer an Engine Heat Fix Module that provides a simple, efficient way to electronically adjust the vehicle's coolant temperature set point. By modifying the software, you can command the electronic thermostat and cooling fans to activate earlier, keeping the engine running cooler and more reliably without requiring any mechanical changes.
