When removing the factory top speed limiter to maximize your vehicle's performance on the track, adjusting the Engine Control Unit (ECU) alone isn't always enough. Many modern automatic and dual-clutch transmissions feature their own independent speed limiters programmed directly into the Transmission Control Unit (TCU). If this secondary limit isn't removed, the gearbox will intervene by cutting torque or forcing a downshift when you approach the factory top speed. We offer a Gearbox Speed Limiter Removal Module that provides a simple software solution to bypass these transmission-side restrictions, ensuring the gearbox syncs perfectly with your unrestricted engine tune.
