When tuning an engine for maximum performance, raising the engine's RPM limit in the ECU is a standard procedure to access more top-end power. However, on vehicles with automatic or dual-clutch transmissions, the gearbox has its own independent rev limiter. If the transmission's limit isn't raised to match the engine's new redline, the gearbox will aggressively intervene, forcing an early upshift or cutting power right as you reach the best part of your power band. We offer a Gearbox Rev Limiter Module that provides a simple software solution to easily raise or remove the transmission's factory RPM limits. This ensures your gearbox perfectly syncs with your engine tune, allowing the car to rev freely to its new target and utilize its full potential.
